Since October 1st, the season of enjoying fun-filled afternoons with after-school activities at Casvi International American School.
This type of activity allows them to spend time together with their classmates in a different environment, discover new subjects, or delve deeper into the ones that they like the most. In many cases, they may even discover talents that otherwise otherwise way would go unnoticed during the school day. For example, if you participate in an activity such as soccer will go much further than that: it is not a player, but rather that the sport is part of his education.
Paraphrasing Dr. Nuria Codina, a psychologist, extracurricular activities contribute to improving educational quality, as they integrate various disciplines and non-academic activities that benefit students at different stages of their development, promoting more well-rounded academic and personal growth.
Extracurricular Activities at Casvi International American School
We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing our students with all the necessary tools so that they themselves can explore the world around them. These practices help them discover themselves and work on their strengths and areas for improvement. A recommendation from Altea Psicólogos is that the activities they sign up for should not feel like “an imposition.” That is why this year we have a comprehensive and varied program of extracurricular activities, including:
1. Dance
2. Tennis and paddle
3. Piano
4. Soccer
Is it still too late to sign up for an after-school activity?
