Saint Patrick’s Day at Casvi Tres Cantos

Children painting the gift for Father's Day

It all started with a simple question in class: “What makes your dad special?”

From there, at Casvi International American School, our students got to work preparing a unique gift for Father’s Day. It wasn’t just about making a gift, but about thinking, feeling, and expressing everything that sometimes can’t be put into words. The students used creativity in their favorite way to make this gift, connecting abstract ideas with what they had learned in class.

Leprechauns, watch out because we're hunting you!

Some decided to give free rein to their creativity with clay, carefully shaping every detail. Amid laughter, failed attempts, and small successes, they created unique pieces—each one different, each one special. Then, with paintbrushes in hand, they added color and personality to their creations, turning them into gifts full of meaning.

Others chose the paper and the words. With great enthusiasm, they designed cards filled with messages full of sincerity, spending time thinking about what they wanted to say and how to say it. Simple phrases, but filled with emotion, that are sure to reach straight to the heart.

The green chaos took hold of the classes

In every stroke, in every color, and in every word, there was something in common: love. Because beyond the final result, what mattered was the process, the time shared, the enthusiasm put into every detail and the intention to make someone important feel special.

The thing is, at Casvi, we know that the best lessons aren’t always found in books… sometimes they’re in a piece of clay, in a handmade card, in an idea that takes shape in class, and, above all, in the joy of giving something that comes straight from the heart.

Amid paintbrushes, clay, and cards, one of our students wrote the phrase that sums up all the effort: “Baba, seni çok seviyorum” (Dad, I love you so much in Turkish). Sometimes, the smallest thing is the biggest.

We offer activities for all ages focused on intercultural themes, so that everyone can find their place and celebrate diversity.
