Grade 11 and DP1 students participated in the EDUCA3C 2025 Fair, held at the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center in Tres Cantos.
This event, organized by the Tres Cantos City Council, the Tres Cantos Youth Association and the AMPA of several high schools, has brought together a wide variety of institutions and organizations. Among them, there are several public and private universities, vocational training centers, security forces and various educational and volunteer organizations. In total, 20 universities and more than 50 information points were available for consultation .
They also had the opportunity to directly ask university students from Tres Cantos about their experience and concerns during the round tables held.
The enrollment dates of many universities are approaching and many students still need to resolve some doubts about what to study or where. Therefore, this fair has been an excellent opportunity to explore and learn about the different academic and professional options available.
This initiative responds to the vocational orientation program that continues at Casvi International American School. Its purpose is to accompany students in the search for their next educational and professional challenge.
As with the XIII Casvi University Fair, held last January, and the first International University Fair, which took place the previous month, this initiative aims to offer our students different alternatives to facilitate, as far as possible, one of the most important decisions of their lives.
Continuous Vocational Guidance
However, this activity is not an isolated case, but is part of the actions undertaken by the school’s Guidance Department, which accompanies students in their reflection on their professional vocation throughout the school year. Some examples of these initiatives are:
– Pedagogical activities aimed at making them aware of and value their own aptitudes and interests. In this way, students are able to make better decisions about their professional future.
– Information sessions aimed at families and students, where the different educational and employment options are presented.
– Interviews and individual meetings with students to provide them with a safe space to discuss their educational concerns and interests.
«Training for the present for jobs of the future». Starting from Grade 10, through a psychological test, we specialize in proposing five potential future professions that align with each student’s profile. At the same time, we provide guidance on the academic training needed to achieve them.
