In order to support our students in one of the most important decisions of their lives, the first Casvi International Universities Fair has been held. This event, which took place yesterday at the Eurocolegio Internacional Casvi Villaviciosa, brought together nearly 30 universities from more than seven different countries.
All Grade 10, 11, and DP1 (IB) students interested have had the opportunity to learn about the methodologies and academic offerings of each institution. But most importantly, they have had the chance to resolve all their doubts and concerns about starting this educational stage away from home.
Just like with the XIII Casvi Universities Fair, held last January, this initiative aims to offer our students different alternatives to help, as much as possible, with one of the most important decisions of their lives
Similarly, learning about the available options will help them make the best possible decision, considering their strengths, skills, and professional goals. With this, we aim to reduce the risk of university dropout and ensure that they feel satisfied with their professional choice. Our goal is for each student to become a successful, fulfilled, and well-prepared professional for their future.
Continuous Vocational Guidance
However, this activity is not an isolated case, but rather part of the actions undertaken by the school’s guidance team, which supports students in their reflection on their professional vocation throughout the school year. Some examples of these initiatives are:
-Pedagogical activities aimed at helping them recognize and value their own aptitudes and interests. This way, students are able to make more informed decisions about their professional future.
– Informative sessions aimed at families and students, where different educational and career options are presented.
– Individual interviews and meetings with students to provide a safe space where they can discuss their doubts and educational interests.
«Training for the present for jobs of the future». Starting from Grade 10, through a psychological test, we specialize in proposing five potential future professions that align with each student’s profile. At the same time, we provide guidance on the academic training needed to achieve them.
