This year we celebrate the 17th anniversary of the transformation of an abandoned lot into a place of hope. The Occupational Training Center built by the Casvi Foundation is improving the quality of life in one of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of Piura, Peru.
Moreover, since its creation, this space has not stopped growing, both in its infrastructure and in the impact it generates in the community. Today, it is much more than a building: it is a space for meeting, learning and eating.
A Multifunctional Space
Every day, thanks to the tireless efforts of committed volunteers, the center offers 120 lunches to people who otherwise would not have access to nutritious food. This has recently been joined by 20 breakfasts per day for adults in a situation of neglect.
On the other hand, under the slogan “Come, learn and create your own business”, workshops on pastry making, cooking, bakery, tailoring, handicrafts and crochet knitting will be offered .. These trainings are especially aimed at women, providing them with real tools to achieve the economic independence and to be able to regain their self-confidence.

17 Years Later , We Continue to Transform Lives
The recent visit of Father Luis Arrasco, coordinator of the Casvi Foundation in Piura, reminded us of the true value of this project: it is not just numbers or tangible achievements, but lives transformed day by day.
Today, the Casvi-Piura Foundation is a consolidated reality. On this new anniversary, we celebrate not only what has been achieved, but also the illusion of all that can still be achieved. Thanks to the continuous support of volunteers, donors and collaborators, we continue to transform lives.
