Presidents’ Day falls on the third Monday in February each year in the United States. At Casvi International American School we celebrated this day approaching kindergarten students to the American culture.
To little kids, concepts such as citizenship and democracy can be hard to grasp. That’s why we talked about simple concepts, starting with the American Flag.
Individually, in groups or with the help of their homeroom teachers, our students have recreated the American flag on a large blank mural in a very creative way.
Through this activity, they worked on their conceptual learning based on creative skills.
