UN Climate Change Conference 2019 is held these days in Madrid and Grade 6 & 7 students have actively participated in some awareness workshops.
Firstly, they attended to a presentation about projects that schools can do to study the climate.
After that, the adventure started! They used virtual reality goggles to inquiry about how climate change affects the earth.
They tested different sustainable projects like riding a bike to make smoothies…
… or discovering clothes made of sustainable materials.
At Casvi International American School we truly believe that our students are the key for a change. In fact, The Middle Years Programme (MYP) sciences framework encourages students to investigate issues through research, observation and experimentation, working independently and collaboratively.
It’s time for action!
