The students of 3rd ESO have made a cultural trip to the city of Alcalá de Henares declared as unique by UNESCO and a World Heritage city where they have been able to immerse themselves in the history of Spain.
Accompanied by a guide, they have walked through such emblematic places as the stony Calle Mayor, considered to be the largest porticos street in Europe, with 396 m.
They have visited the surroundings of the Archbishop’s Palace where they have known peculiarities of the time of the Catholic Monarchs, such as writing with a bird’s feather.
This interesting visit ended by visiting the Roman past of the area. Our students observed the mosaics that are still preserved in the Regional Archaeological Museum of the Community of Madrid located in the city.
