At Casvi International American School we celebrate the International Week of Languages to foster an open mind among all of our students. Today Monday, it is the turn of France and its celebration of the “Poisson d’avril” or the April Fools’ Day.
It has been the students of Kindergarten who have inquired about this holiday that, and although its origin is not free of controversy, is to hang a paper fish on the back of the people you want to kid.
They have learned new vocabulary in French while working on their creativity by designing and coloring the fish they have later used in a game with their peers.
Throughout this week, our students will inquire about a topic related to different countries: France, China, Germany, Italy, and the United States.
We invite you to follow their discoveries every day!
