Conflicts between classmates are a normal part of growing up. But left unchecked, peer problems can interrupt classtime, cause emotional stress, and derail students’ learning.
For these reasons, Mr. Bradley, Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher, have organized a very useful mentoring session today about: “How to handle a conflict”.
After watching a video of examples, our students discussed the steps to resolve a conflict in and out the classroom.
At the end, they perfomed a role play in front of their peers. Communication, mediation or compromise are some of the concepts they put into practice. It was very fun!
