Students of Sciences of 2nd of Baccalaureate have taken control of the Chemistry class and have realized several experiments in the laboratory.
They have started conducting precipitation reactions that they had only seen so far on the board and observed the different possibilities
However, one of the experiments that most caught their attention, has been to create a chemical garden. For this, they have added different salts, such as copper sulfate, to an aqueous solution of sodium silicate. The result has been very interesting and colorful.
Taking chemistry to the practical level allows our students to better internalize scientific concepts and procedures and reinforce certain skills such as problem solving.
