Using a magic box, they visualized an object or feeling on their mind…
And then, in creating, students explored the use of facial expressions, gestures, movement, and posture to perform without speaking.
The rest of the students had to guess what feeling or object was that, like a smelly shoe…
or a cartoon character.
Performing arts within the PYP provides to our students a means of expression of both emotional and intellectual perspectives and a vehicle for wondering, reflecting and consolidating.
They had a blast!
