Online University Fair: how to access into an international university?

What do I want to study? What are the requirements to get into an international university? These are some of the questions that our High School students ask themselves every year. The fact is that the transition from school to university is one of the most important decisions in a student’s life. A step that leads them in direct contact with the working life, and that means a milestone in their educational period.

To help them make such an important decision, last Friday, September 17th, we held the Online University Fair at Casvi International American School. Throughout the morning, five professionals in the field explained to our students of 1st and 2nd of Bachillerato the keys of the most prestigious universities in the world. Different members of Navitas, IEC Formación, Klensein, Royal Universities and Talento y Deporte, solved the main doubts of our students. Thus, they learned what inquiries are necessary to apply to a university abroad, what careers each one offers, and what professional opportunities they will find.

How to study abroad?

Following the International Baccalaureate methodology, since Grade 9, all our students go through the Guidance Department at different stages, who works with them and guides them in the future of their professional careers. By working with this methodology, and having an American curriculum, many of our students focus on international universities, where they can continue to develop the attributes of the IB profile: inquirers, knowledgeables, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, reflectives.

During this day, they also solved some inquiries, such as:

  • What scholarships they can apply for to study abroad.
  • Requirements for university access in countries such as the United States, Canada or Germany.
  • Which are the best universities in the world.
  • What professional opportunities are available in these countries.

Study at an international university

At Casvi International American School our main value is to have a teaching methodology based on the International Baccalaureate, which promotes an international and open mindset, so we prepare citizens of the world.

“Nowadays education has to be international. It is not enough to teach a language, we have to foster an international mindset.”
Mr. Juan Luis Yagüe, CEO of Casvi Group
