Beginning the New School Year 2025-2026 with Excitement.

As part of the welcome, the students have been received by Howler, our loved pet school, who has not wanted to miss this day so special. With his sympathy and hugs, he has accompanied the students on their entrance to school.

In addition, our head of school, Marikay, has personally visited each class to introduce herself and welcome the students.

An Agenda Full of Learning, Values and Experiences

Throughout this school year, there will be countless opportunities for growth. Beyond academic content, our students will experience unique moments through our cultural, sports, and community service activities. All of this will help them develop not only as good students but also as responsible global citizens.

And of course! We will once again celebrate our traditional holidays and events: Halloween, Christmas, Spring Festival, Thanksgiving, book fairs and much more. Each of these moments will be an opportunity to learn, live together and enjoy with your classmates and teachers.

We know that the first day of school may come to be an emotional roller coaster, above everything for families with children small. For that, we share some advice from expertsto helpin this stage ofadaptation:

1. Build Consistent Routines

Establishing daily routines early in the school year helps young children adjust more easily to the change of starting school. Regular schedules for eating, playing, and sleeping provide a framework of security that contributes to their emotional well-being.

2. Managing the separation

For many young children, the first day of school can be the first time they are separated from their parents for an extended period. When dropping them off at school, it’s essential to say goodbye in a brief and positive way, conveying a sense of security and confidence. Crying is a normal and natural reaction, but parents should remain calm so that the children feel they are in a safe place.

3. Promoting Autonomy

Small gestures such as letting children choose their clothes or prepare their backpacks allow them to feel more responsible and prepared for this new stage. “It is crucial that parents give small spaces of independence to encourage children’s security,” says pedagogue Eva Bach.

Tips for Families with Middle and High School Students

In the case of those students of Secondary and High School, the beginning of school year also involves bigand new challenges both academic, and personal. Some tips keyto keepin accountare:

1. Promote Organization and Planning

As students get older, the academic load also increases. Eduard Estivill, author and neuroscience specialist, suggests that success in studies is directly related to good time planning. Having a visible calendar with exams and assignments, as well as study schedules, is key to avoiding last-minute stress.

2. Accompanying without overwhelming

Teenage years are a time when young people begin to seek more independence. Experts in psychology recommend accompanying children on their academic path without falling into overprotection. They should feel that their family is there when they need it, but also that they trust in their ability to solve problems.

3. Encourage Open Dialogue

It is important for adolescents to feel that they can share their concerns, accomplishments and frustrations with their parents. Creating an atmosphere of trust and open communication is essential. Honest, non-judgmental conversations strengthen family bonds and help young people cope with the challenges of school.
