For many, September It is considered the “New Year.” It is the month when routines begin, goals are set, and, of course, school starts again, and students reunite with their classmates and teachers. At Casvi International American School, it kicked off in style with a welcome from Howler, our beloved mascot, the first day of school. In addition to our new director, Rosa Elena Galagarza, to whom we extend a warm welcome with affection.
Howler and Rosa became friends right from the start, so it hasn’t been unusual to see them taking photos together. Rosa has visited the classrooms, getting to know our teachers and students in person.

Among our new releases, you’ll find Nursing at School from now on. This will help us take better care of the students.
In this first month, our students have already prepared projects in their courses, demonstrating their ability to work. For example, in art, they have worked with visual perspectives, and in Spanish as a Second Language (ELE), they have celebrated part of “Hispanic Heritage Month” (which will end on October 15, 2026). In addition, at High School, they have been able to rely on the Department of Guidance, which has explained what the PCE are and has conducted personal interviews to learn more about what they want to study in the future.
In addition, we are happy to see that fun doesn’t end at 4.45 pm thanks to the extracurricular activities. For their part, our little ones have welcomed Fall, putting leaves and fun photos on their classroom door.
The hallways of Casvi International American School are once again inspiring and full of color, thanks to the posters and works of art designed and created by our students.
In this new launch of News by Casvi in October, you’ll be able to relive these moments that are truly unique and learn in detail everything that has happened in PYP, MYP, and DP, as well as in sports, the arts, and much more. Welcome back to Casvi. Let’s make this year amazing!
The director of the Casvi schools, Juan Luis Yagüe, has been awarded the Medal of Honor. A tribute to his commitment to quality education.
