For many, September is considered the “new year.” It is the month when routines begin, goals are set, and, of course, school life and reunions with classmates and teachers resume.
It started off with a bang with the welcome from Howler , our beloved mascot, the first day of school. Who doesn’t want to walk into class feeling excited and smiling from ear to ear? Likewise, our principal, Marikay McCabe, visited various groups to show her support for the new school year.
The director of the Casvi schools , Juan Luis Yagüe , has been awarded the Medal of Honor . A recognition of his commitment to education of quality.
In addition, the fun afternoons are back, thanks to the extracurricular activities after school . In high school, they have also been able to use new sports equipment in their Physical Education classes.
The students who last year completed their Personal Project Exhibition , as a culmination of their MYP stage, have received their diplomas in recognition of their effort and perseverance. Meanwhile, our little ones have welcomed the arrival of fall.
In the case of our senior students, they have carried out various tests of the Guidance Department . These will help them gain a better understanding of themselves as they prepare to decide what to study next year.
The hallways of Casvi International American School are once again inspiring and full of color, thanks to the posters and works of art designed and created by our students.
