The director of Casvi International American School, Juan Luis Yagüe, has been awarded the 2025 Medal of Honor by the Official Association of Doctors and Graduates in Philosophy and Letters and Sciences of the Community of Madrid. The ceremony, held yesterday at the Faculty of Geography and History of the Complutense University of Madrid, forms part of the framework of the inaugural session of the University of Autumn.
This award recognizes the work of individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to the development of quality education in our country, with the aim of building a more prepared society with a higher cultural level.

Notable Figures
Along with Juan Luis Yagüe, the following were also honored Pilar Ponce, chair of the School Board of the Community of Madrid; Miguel Luque Talaván, dean of the Faculty of Geography and History at the UCM; and Francisco José Martín, director of the Imprenta Artesanal-Artes del Libro de Madrid (Madrid Artisan Printing and Book Arts Workshop), among others.
In addition, attendees had the opportunity to attend a lecture given by Jaime Buhigas, founder of the educational renewal movement “We all learn: for better education”, which emphasized the need to continue advancing new pedagogical strategies within the field of education.
