Creating real opportunities for our students to plan their university and professional future is an essential part of the International Baccalaureate educational model. For this reason, the International University Fair held at Casvi Villaviciosa has become a place to talk to representatives from global institutions, learn about admission requirements, and discover how and why it is interesting to take this step outside Spain.
A MEETING THAT OPENS NEW PATHS
On Monday, March 2, universities from different countries presented their academic programs to G11, G12, and DP1 students from both Tres Cantos and Villaviciosa. It was a meeting point to answer questions and understand how the admission process works at international schools.
For many, the path ahead is uncertain and there are so many options that deciding on one is complicated. For this reason, these international universities have also highlighted the double degree programs that students can pursue.
The diversity of options is simply a reflection of what an international education has to offer. Furthermore, the IB profile of our students ensures that they are well prepared for the type of higher education offered by these universities.
BENEFITS OF ACADEMIC COUNSELING
These fairs allow students in their final years to learn more about their own interests. Talking about academic opportunities, residences, or cultural exchange helped them to set their goals or, at least, get their educational aspirations on track.
The guidance department at Casvi International American School Tres Cantos accompanied the students. Thanks to the fact that it is available at the school, students have extra support in making such an important decision.
