American Early Childhood Education School: Casvi International American School
Nursery schools are very important for the educational development of children. At this stage, children begin to develop their cognitive, emotional, and social skills through play.
At Casvi International American School we offer a complete linguistic and cultural immersion from the age of 0, following the American educational model and basing our project on the IB methodology.
Our American nursery school provides students with the fundamental learning foundation to develop holistically in English. We work on initiation to reading and mathematics, following the American model. In addition, we rely on swimming, musical, oral, corporal and artistic expression, as well as the development of multiple intelligences and emotional management.
It is the first stage of our educational system before Primary Education. After that, students are more prepared to enter Middle School and High School.
American Nursery School - From 0 to 3 years old
Early schooling from 0 to 3 years of age produces benefits such as better socialization, better language development, acquisition of psychomotor skills… Through music, symbolic play, or representations, children learn while having fun and practically without realizing it. In addition, English is the language of instruction, given the importance of the child’s first contact with the language.
Within our methodology, the world of emotions is of particular importance. Emotions are part of the personal growth of each child and for this reason, in our American nursery school, we work so that children acquire self-control skills that are fundamental for their future.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
From the age of 3, children enter Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten (pre-school up to the age of 5). A very important stage in which the International Baccalaureate (IB) methodology begins to be implemented.
Although this stage of schooling is not compulsory in Spain, kindergarten contributes very positively to the physical, social and intellectual development of children. It has been proven that children who attend nursery school up to the age of 6 achieve better academic results in the future. This is because, during this period, important brain development takes place.
At this age it is essential for children to explore and express themselves while receiving a values-based education with highly qualified and dedicated teachers.
Methodology of our Pre-School and Kindergarten School
Corporal, musical and artistic expression, as well as sports, are integrated in a transdisciplinary way in Casvi’s methodology at our American Infant School.
Sport and corporal expression
From the age of 3, our pupils receive swimming lessons. They also carry out different activities that promote their psychomotor skills and knowledge of their bodies, with specialist teachers in the field of psychomotor skills.
Musical expression
We encourage stimulation through music from 0 years of age, which means that, from 4 and 5 years of age, children are already able to create their staves.
Artistic expression
Thanks to various artistic techniques, the students work on visual perception in their daily lives, art, and fine motor skills.

One of our priorities is to maintain a safe and protective space, especially for babies and young children. In addition to having safe facilities, we have a low ratio of children per teacher, so that educators can be more aware of their safety at all times.
