The fourteenth edition of the University Fair was held at the Eurocolegio Casvi sports center in Villaviciosa, where more than 40 national and international educational institutions gathered. Diploma Program (IB) students, as well as those in grades 10 to 12, had the opportunity to explore the diverse and specialized university options up close.
Students had the opportunity to speak on site with representatives from public and private universities and other national institutions. This allowed them to clarify their questions about study plans, available scholarships, admission procedures, and career opportunities for each degree program.
This initiative is part of the extensive career guidance program that distinguishes Casvi International American School and guides students from their early years through to their preparation for university. The guidance department provides individualized follow-up that includes:
- Self-awareness workshops that support students in identifying their abilities, interests, and strengths.
- Information sessions for families, detailing university requirements and academic pathways.
- Psychometric tests that suggest possible professions based on personal profiles, as well as the training required to access them.
- Personalized guidance for selecting subjects in MYP and High School, in line with specific career goals.
- Presentations with people sharing their own experiences at different universities.
The main goal of this program is to significantly reduce the likelihood of university students dropping out of school, a problem that affects thousands of young people every year. Casvi aims to ensure that each student makes informed academic decisions in line with their vocation, providing detailed information and support from an early age, thereby maximizing their satisfaction and long-term professional success.
