Casvi Tres Cantos School celebrated its traditional “Language Week” with great enthusiasm, an initiative that has transformed the classrooms into a true international hub.
Throughout the week, older students have shared what they’ve learned with the younger children, reading them stories in different languages and teaching them new words and how to write them. This activity has fostered not only language development but also interaction and bonding among students of different ages.
The experience also had a strong intercultural focus thanks to the school cafeteria, which served a menu inspired by a different country each day: Mexico on Monday, Turkey on Tuesday, China on Wednesday, India on Thursday, and Russia on Friday. This initiative has allowed students to learn about other cultures through cuisine as well.
In addition, family involvement has been key to the success of the week. Some parents have helped out by organizing a puppet show, adding value to the event, and strengthening the sense of educational community.
Language Week has once again highlighted the school’s commitment to cultural diversity, language learning, and creating enriching educational experiences in a dynamic, international, and welcoming environment.
