A day of personal and shared gratitude, that’s what Thanksgiving has been for Casvi International American School.
For weeks, our students have been exploring in class the origins and significance of this centuries-old holiday, deeply rooted in American culture.
Likewise, the youngest students have completed various art projects. In these, they not only practiced different techniques but also learned to appreciate the value of the little things.
On November 27, the true Thanksgiving Day, we experienced the most special moment. Our students, teachers, and many parents became real master bakers, making apple pies, one of the most iconic desserts of this holiday—which they then shared with the entire school after a delicious Thanksgiving meal.
The Power of Gratitude
Several studies highlight the importance of cultivating the habit of gratitude ein our daily lives. It doesn’t take much time, yet it has a significant impact on our emotional well-being and on how we relate to others.
When was the last time you expressed gratitude for something? This might be your sign to do it now.
