America in Spain at Casvi International American School

An American school in Spain? Innovation in the way of teaching and evaluation, promotion of critical thinking, wide range of job opportunities, cultural and social diversity, academic quality and prestige, art, sports… these are some of the attributes that the American and international educational system of Casvi International American School offers to our students.

Linguistic and Cultural Immersion

At Casvi International American School, students enjoy total linguistic immersion from Nursery (0-2 years old). English is the official language of instruction at all stages. But students not only live a linguistic immersion but also cultural immersion. They have a totally international environment with teachers and students from different countries. As a result, our students acquire a global competence, which is essential for life in the 21st century.

American teachers: the best references

In order to carry out this linguistic immersion, at Casvi International American School we have qualified native English-speaking teachers, most of them American. All of them are specialists in education, trained in American universities and consolidated and trained in the school itself.

In addition, all the teachers have acquired, thanks to the International Baccalaureate, an open and international mentality that they transmit daily to their students.

STEAM Challenges at Makerspace

STEAM is an integrative, cross-curricular approach that fosters students’ interest in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. At Casvi International American School we develop this approach in Makerspace: a classroom where students share resources and knowledge to create different projects. Here we apply an active and practical methodology, developing more than ever the concept of Learning by doing.

Why is Casvi International American School accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA)?

The MSA accredits Casvi International American School because we follow the American Common Core Standards. These standards aim to develop critical thinking, problem solving and provide students with the analytical skills necessary to succeed in the future.

To achieve this accreditation, a series of requirements must be met, among which are: high educational quality guaranteed to the entire community; having American teachers; families involved in the development of school life with volunteer activities and safety protocols.
